Weight Loss Motivation for Women

Are you busy? a new mom or simply need motivation to start your weight loss journey once and for all? Here is what you need to hear to get started today!

I always say discipline over motivation, but I also understand we all need that initial motivation to start moving. Let me start by reminding you that it is about your health not your physical body even though they go hand in hand.

Oh well, that's never gonna happen!

With Instagram models reminding us regularly to hate our bodies, they set the stakes so high that we don’t feel motivated to take any actions. How long is it going to take for us to look like that? To feel as sexy? to feel as healthy? How long is it going to take for men to get attracted to us or for us to feel comfortable enough in the bed with our husbands? "Oh well that's never going to happen" is something I constantly told myself. These models are different, they have good genetics, and they don't like food as much as I do!

Let me let you in on a secret. 3 years later and almost 50 pounds lighter, I understand that my competition is not these models. When I started to feel healthy, I automatically felt sexy. Yes I might not look picture perfect but I feel sexy in my own skin.

You don’t have to look like a model. Start thinking about your health and everything else will fall into its place.

I am too busy to cook and exercise

This used to be my favorite excuse and I didn't realize it was just a big fat excuse! I know I know! You have a full time job and a ton of responsibilities but my argument is that you need to PRIOROTIZE!

Are you too busy to take care of your health? Did you know obesity includes more than 10% of annul deaths in Canada and kills over 300 000 people in US? Did you know if you are overweight you are prone to type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease and strokes, certain types of cancer, sleep apnea, osteoarthritis, fatty liver disease, kidney disease and so much more! Not to mention weak immune system so you are sick half of the year and lowers hormone production so you are in a bad mood or tired for the other half?

Will you be too busy to get healthy when you are in the hospital bed or diagnosed with diabetes? Is your high paying job really worth risking your own and family's health?

It is time to START making time for things that matter

"I can't afford healthy food. It's expensive"

To those who say they can’t afford organic, grass-fed meat and veggies I ask:

Do you know how much you will have to pay in blood pressure, insulin and weigh loss medication when you are older? Are you sure you are able to pay the price for that? I suggest you eat less but higher quality. Focus on purchasing whole foods not packaged/processed food.

If a single soda was to include its real cost that includes its effect on your health, it would cost over a $100 but unfortunately thanks to the high fructose syrup lobbyists, it’s cheaper than water!

Please take a second to think can you afford all the health outcome in future that comes with not following a healthy, nutritious diet?

If a person like me who wasn’t an athlete or disciplined at anything could do it, you can maybe use my techniques to achieve your goals as well and you can download my free basic tracker that introduces healthy food to your diet and helps you get rid of the bad ones. Click here to download.

"I am a new mom and I spend all of my time with my baby"

If you are unhealthy , unhappy, or overweight it will directly affect your child. You know it as well as I do that if you are waking up stressed and in a bad mood, your child will 100% be affected by it so maybe we should start using them as motivation nor an excuse.

Become healthy because you love them and want the best for them. Don’t let ANYBODY tell you that is selfish because it’s is purely an act of love. Love yourself and you will spread love to anybody who crosses your path, especially the ones closest to you. Start by doing 10 minutes quick exercises everyday listed in my program below or follow along some YouTube videos

"I am not Disciplined"

I am sure whoever you are and wherever you are, you know deep inside you that getting rid of old habits require discipline. Practice that by putting yourself in uncomfortable situations. Cold showers, running or simply waking up earlier in the morning are just a few things you can try!

I started waking up at 4 am for almost 2 years and it really helped me train my brain get used to doing things that don't necessarily feel super cozy and nice. Then when I started hitting another plateau, I started cold showers or now I am able to walk for an hour in 0 degree weather.

I also regularly try new and harder exercises that I HATE doing! When you do hard things that you hate to do, it will automatically help your brain to re wire and start thinking about everything differently.
